Nokia and Android followers can rejoice now. Leaks have been spreading on internet confirming the launch of the Nokia's first Android device, the Normandy. It is rumoured that the Normandy will be an entry-level Android smartphone.
The Normandy will carry forward the same design of the Lumia series devices. It is likely to sport a 5 MP primary camera. A 4 inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels is the highlight of the device.
It seems like the Normandy would be a Dual SIM gadget. The phone will run on Android v4.4.1 KitKat OS. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset. However, it's not sure whether quad-core Cortex-A5/Adreno 203 or quad-core Cortex-A7/Adreno 302 will boost up it.
Earlier, there was a news reading that Nokia had shelved the Android phone project. Now it seems everything alright and Nokia fans can dream something coupled with Android OS.
Unfortunately, there is not a word about the pricing of the Normandy.
