Apple comes back with a bang launching two new sets at once, asserting its space in the smart phone industry. 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus looks more or less the same except for the length of the models. Apart from looks, the functions of both vary to a certain extent. iPhone 6 plus includes optical image stabilization for the camera, longer battery life and I-pad style land scape mode display which provides more space on the screen.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus comes at resolutions 1334×750 and 1920×1080 respectively along with Retina HD display enabled on both the models. With an A8 processor the iPhone 6 models are expected to perform 25 % faster with 50% faster graphics. There are major improvements like better cameras and the new Apple payment system. Apple’s iWallet comes with two major components, one dealing with the payments made via NFC and the other one where payment card data is transferred from the secure enclave of the iOS device and passed on to a compatible app. It is expected to be a major blow on services like PayPal just as Apple has raised the standards higher. Apple iWallet would ensure a one click cash transaction marking the online payments much simpler.
Special care has been given to the design of these models as bigger phones has always posed an issue on the handy-comfy style. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus comes with metallic bodies, but softer and rounder edges compared to the earlier models. Probably the biggest highlight that Apple can argue about is the camera resolution of iPhone 6. It is undoubtedly the iOS phone with highest camera resolution. Other than that, features hits a rock bottom compared to the expectation. Of course the faster processor and latest version of iOS is all fine, at the end of the day it's an iPhone 6. Nothing less is expected of Apple.
The availability in India is still under speculation as Apple has removed the two proposed launch dates from its website. While the show remains shiny and intact, the price chart just shot up, and price in India will be approximately around Rs.50,000 to Rs.60,000. So yeah, Apple is on fire folks!
