Asus Pegasus 2 Plus unwrapped. Likely to hit the Indian markets soon

Asus is a Taiwanese Multinational computer hardware and Electronics company who has always been there in the limelight for their persistent sensible products with strokes of creativity and style. The evolution of the name Asus can be traced back to the Greek God Pegasus who is the symbol of inspiration for art and learning. The last four letters of the God's name has been taken to form “Asus”. True to its name the company represents a creative company rising to fresher heights with each of their products.



Its in January this year that the Asus company has released their ZenFone 2 line of phones and now the news is all about the Asus Pegasus 2 plus which is a direct successor to the Pegasus X002 which was released last year. Pegasus 2 plus was released recently at a Chinese exhibition.

The Pegasus 2 plus is said to sport solid features. So Lets take a look at what those are.

Featuring a 5.5 inch IPS capacitive display, the Pegasus 2 plus certainly falls under the category of those luxurious high-end smartphones. The HD screen is said to have a resolution of about 1080 x 1920 pixels. The internals are also impressive which includes a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor backed along with 3 GB of RAM. Pegasus is powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and runs on a Zen UI on top.

The storage facilities comprises of 32 GB of internal memory and can be expanded via Micro SD cards up to 64 GB. The phone sports a 13 MP rear camera with Dual LED flash, touch focus, Geo-tagging etc and an 8 MP secondary camera on the front.



The dual-SIM phone comes with a battery capacity of 3030 mAh which is quite huge ensuring you oodles of battery power on your handset. Nothing has been revealed about the connectivity options. Well let's hope that the handset will support 4G connections as well.

Details about the price and availability dates are not yet mentioned. But rumors suggest that all of the Asian countries will be given priority when it comes to the release. The phone is available in Rose Gold and white color variants. Another unique feature is its smart identity technology which allows the web to search location for information of all the pictures snapped by you with this phone. The phone also supports active noise cancellation feature.
