After the launch of M3 Note and Pro 6 earlier this month Meizu has now introduced M3 handset, a slightly upgraded version of M2 smart phone. The handset is being offered in two different combinations, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The latter costs about Rs 8,200 while the former costs only about Rs 6,200.
Both the models provide the facility of microSD slots for the expansion of storage. The phone features a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass. The handset draws power from a 2,870mAh battery and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. Based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, M3 runs the custom Flyme 5 OS.
M3 has a 13-megapixels rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and phase detection autofocus along with a 5mp front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture which is quite attractive. It is currently available in multiple colours. M3 provide 4G LTE support, dual sim slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options. The phone is quite handy and weighs 132grams. Other features include sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light and a magnetometer.
Another notable feature of Meizu M3 is an mBack physical home button below the display. The button serves the purpose of a physical home button, a captive back button and a finger print scanner all at once.
Pre-orders for Meizu M3 is already up in China and is all set to be launched in India soon. If reports are to be believed, M3 will be
launched next month in India.
