The meritorious search giant, Google, may have one million people as its employees one day - commented by its CEO, Larry Page. In an interview with Wired magazine, Page said "imagine what we could do if we had a hundred times as many employees." instead of saying that he wishes Google to hire a million employees, Page modulated his comment by saying that even though Google might not need that much employees for its perfect functioning, it could make companies that require a million employees. He said “may be it's not important for us to have a million employees, but I like to think that we could build companies that are really scalable to that size."
At present, the company is hiring 60,000 employees. With that number increasing to 1 million, the world could definitely expect more astonishing miracles from Google. Being a friend to so many netizens, any news regarding Google will catch the attention of Media as well as the mass. Though Page has harmonised his comment later, the previous comment paves the way for some expectation that Google is definitely on its way of elaborating its wings.
Reports have started comparing Google's human resource that with giants in other fields like retail and fast food. According to some reports, the retail giant WalMart has 2.2 million employees and the fast food giant McDonald's has 1.9 million workers. Hopefully, Google too will raise up to these giants.
