According to latest reports, Samsung is to unveil its Galaxy Grand Phablet in India today. The launch will be held in Mumbai during a press meet held by the company. The company has not yet revealed the price of the Phablet. A contest had been carried out in which the viewers were asked to guess the price and features of the Phablet. The winner of the contest will be announced along with the release today. Samsung had announced the Galaxy Grand Phablet in December 2012.
Samsung Galaxy Grand has a display of 5inch WVGA. It is powered by Android 4.1 and has 1.2 GHz dual core processor. It also has an 8 MP camera which is able to record 1080p full HD video at 30fps. There is a 2MP front facing camera too. Regarding the connectivity, the Phablet includes Wi-Fi, 3G, bluetooth, microUSB, and GPS with A-GPS.
The Galaxy Grand has an internal storage capacity of 8GB user memory and 1 GB RAM. as it has microSD card slot, it can be expanded to 64GB. To power up the Grand Phablet, it has a Li-ion 2 100mAh battery.
