The smartphone comes with dual sim (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby facility. It has 4.3-inch WVGA 800×480p display with 69.7×130×10.95 mm dimensions and 262K colours. It is supported by Android 2.3.5 (Ginger Bread). It is powered by a 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC6820 processor. The Smarty A65 has a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and also a VGA front camera with 0.3MP. The primary camera has facilities like CMOS sensor, multi-shot mode, night vision and brightness level and image editor. Smarty A65 has 512 MB RAM and 190 MB of internal storage memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. The official site of Micromax claims that the device has 4GB ROM as well. The device is powered by 1350 mAh battery, which will give you 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. On the con side, the device has no 3G connectivity.
As its connectivity, it has 2G (EDGE), Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and micro USB. The Smarty A65 has 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The phone comes pre-loaded with Micromax apps like Hookup, M! Zone, M! Store as well as other apps like Cricket Fever, Whatsapp and Facebook.
This is the first Android smartphone from Micromax that runs on Spreadtrum’s chipset after the company invested $10 million in Micromax last year. The Micromax Smarty A65 smartphones are now available on flipcart. The tech world is expecting its official announcement soon. Micromax had recently released Smarty A54 with 3.5” display. The frequent releases from Micromax has captured the attention of the smartphone market. Now, with the release of Smarty A65, Micromax is hinting that more delicacies are being baked in their kitchen which are to be served to the 'smartphone craving' multitudes.
