HTC's CEO Mr. Peter Chou announced the device M7 by screaming in the company's year-end celebrations.
Though the video didn't give a clear picture of the device, it confirmed the rumour about M7. On the very next day, a channel sent out a video in which Mr. Chou was seen clicking pictures of the celebrations using an M7. The phone looked slimmer in his hand. It had appeared with a silver aluminium coated rear. It shows that, other than the expected Black coloured device, the company is about to release a silver colour variant too.
The M7 is expected to come with a screen size of 4.7", in full HD support with a 1920×1080 resolution. The device will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. M7 will have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone will be supporting LTE connectivity. It is supposed to have a 13-mega pixel camera with 1080p recording and an f/2.0 aperture. The HTC M7, with Android Jelly Bean and the new Sense 5.0 UI is rumoured to be announced on February 19 at an HTC event and will hopefully launch on March 8.
Further details of the device are yet to be revealed by the company. Along with this news, came a news about another two devices which are soon to come from HTC. They are, HTC M4 and G2. These two devices are supposed to replace HTC One S and HTC Desire C which were released in 2012. The M4 is expected to have a screen of 4.3-inch and 720p and will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It is expected to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage capacity. It is expected to have a rear camera of 13MP.
Compared to the M- series, the G2 will be arriving on a low-end. As the company already has a device with the same retail name, there are chances that they might change the name of the new device G2. The rumoured specs are, a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its OS.
More details about all these devices are yet to be announced by the company. However, one thing is sure that all these three devices are actually being polished. Once the final touch has been over, they will be reaching your hands.
