Sony has decided to rename their two new devices, which were originally named Sony C530X Huashan and Sony C210X. The Sony C530X Huashan is renamed to Xperia SP, whereas the Sony C210X has been renamed as Xperia L. Though they have announced this name change, the releasing date of the phones are not yet revealed. The Sony Xperia L is expected to be a low-end phone.
The Xperia SP is set to be the company's next NXT series smartphone with a transparent bar. The device is to be build in Aluminium chassis with a screen display of 4.3” and 720p. It is to be powered by a 1.7Ghz Qualcomm dual core Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM’8960T chip set.
The Xperia L will be run by a 1GHza dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which could either be the MSM8227 or the MSM 8627. the phone will have an FWVGA resolution display – 480×854 – with virtual buttons and its graphics will be supported by an Adreno 305 GPU. It will be supported by Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
More details and the launching dates of both these devices are yet to be revealed by the company. Hopefully, they might announce it during the Mobile World Congress that is to be held at Barcelona this month.
