ZTE is well known for its budget friendly smartphones. After Blade and Blade2, ZTE has unleashed its brand new smartphone Blade3, which comes for nearly 5,000/- Indian rupees. The smartphone is available in China at this time and is on the way to European markets. So, we can expect it in our markets sooner than later.
Blade3 has 4-inch screen with 480×800 WVGA display which is a capacitive touch screen. It has the size dimensions 120.5×63.5×10.85mm and it weighs 130g. It has a 1GHz Qualcomm 7227A chip set as its processor and 512MB RAM. The device packs 4GB internal memory and an external microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 32GB.The Blade III runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but design-wise it looks more like a Gingerbread phone with its 4 capacitive buttons below the screen. The device is powered by a 1,600mAh battery. It has a 5MP camera on the rear side. But it has no flash light.
The handset employs Dolby audio technology for enhanced sound and it is DLNA compatible as well. For its connectivity, the device has Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and A2DP.
One of the main reasons how ZTE could cut down the price this low is that the phone has been built in China, where the labour costs are comparatively poorer. The pure White coloured Blade3 is getting ready for its entry to the European market. Soon we can expect to see them in India too.
