Did you think that only kids and teens will celebrate the April Fool's day? If so, you are terribly wrong. Our techie giants are the masters in April Fool Day Pranks. Or did you just took their word for granted on 1st April? Well, read below the pranks spread by the famous tech giants.



1.Google:

Yes. Google was the leading prank maker of this April 1st. With Google Nose Beta, Gmail Blue, Treasure layered Google Map, Stylised emotions on photos in Google Plus and also the closure of youtube, Google really celebrated this April 1st.

Google Nose Beta was the biggest April Fools’ Day prank. With this new feature, the user can search for smells like wet dog, airport terminal, diaper, dumpster and beach from Google’s “Aromabase,” which featured over 15 million “scentibytes” of available search terms.

Gmail Blue:

There was a video along with this prank of Google. In the video introducing it, project managers describe how it took six years for them to develop the technology to "completely change" Gmail into a mere colour change, sustaining all the other features the same. In Gmail Blue, the “Compose” button is blue, the text is blue, the buttons are blue, italics are blue, in short everything is blue. They say that we don’t have to make it blue, but it is already blue. According to the video, they tried Orange, Yellow and Brown. As the viewers have the “Facebook Blue” in mind, there were a hundreds who believed this real!

As its third prank of the day, Google transformed Google Maps into a large treasure map – Captain Kidd's map, to be precise, which was discovered by divers from the Google Maps Street View team off the coast of Madagascar. Users were able to search around for symbols and signs leading to the X-marked treasures.

According to this prank, the users will be able to add smilies or emoticons along with their photos in Google Plus. To give it a try, simply open one of your pictures in the lightbox, and click the “Add emotion” button at the top left of the screen. The team Google will plumb the emotional depths of everyone in the photo, then summarize their feelings with a beautifully crafted, emotion icon. You can go back to the original version of the photo by clicking the same button again.

2.Youtube:

This was Google's final prank for the day. There was special message from YouTube, which reveals that YouTube has never been a video sharing service for the masses. Instead, it was simply an eight-year contest to find the world’s best clip. And now that it has been found, YouTube is closing for good. They provided time till midnight to upload videos and then it will be closing for the decade. After 10 years, they will declare the winner. And then it will star again. Sounds nice no?

3.Nokia:
