Finally, Apple's iPad Mini seems to have a strong rival. Though not yet launched or released, Acer's Iconia A1-810 Tablet is the marked rival of the reputed iPad Mini. Iconia A1- 810 Tablet managed to pop up on an e-commerce site in France. Owing much to the world wide web, the Tablet soon became a hot topic for discussions.
According to the calculation of the experts, the device will be available at a price tag of rupees 15,000/-. that is much cheaper than iPad Mini, and yet, the competition will be tougher for the Apple product. The leaked details of Iconia A1- 810 Tablet shows that it will be having all the features of iPad Mini. Then why should we pay such a huge amount? Just for the brand name? Well, there will be only a very few who will go for the brand name.
One of the major reason why people are resistant to buy iPad Mini or any other Apple products is the sky high price tag of them. That’s exactly why Acer Iconia A1- 810 Tablet will be preferred. It is coming in such a low cost that, everyone will be running for it.
The Acer Iconia A1- 810 Tablet will be having a measurement of 208.7×145.7×10.5 mm with a weight of 460 grams. The Tablet will be powered by a MediaTek's quad-core MT8125 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It will be having 1GB RAM. It will be having a 7.9 inches IPS screen display with a 1024×768 resolution. There will be a 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card. The Tablet will be coming with twin cameras. A 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera. The device will be running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. The device will be having microHDMI and microSD ports.
There is no announcement regarding Iconia A1-810's launch and pricing in India. But according to some sites, the device will start shipping on June 2013, which we are not yet sure of. Better wait for an official announcement from Acer. One thing is sure that, if the rumours are right, the Acer Iconia A1 -810 will be a strong opponent to not only iPad Mini, but for Nexus 7 too.
