The company has announced only the 16GB version of the phone. Though there are no hints about the 8GB versions now, we hope that it will follow the suit soon. One thing is sure that the 8GB version will be a few thousands cheaper than the 16GB version of LG's Google Nexus 4. may be that is the reason why the company released the 16GB version fist. They might have foreseen that if a cheaper version is available, the budget conscious Indians will be going for it rather than the 16GB version.
For the time being, the device will be available only in the official showrooms of LG. As the release has been initiated by LG, the handset is not available in any other stores. But, the device is available in the online stores. Some online stores have listed the phone under the label that it will be delivered in three business days.
But the Nexus 4 has been available in India in the grey market since its release. But the users will not be getting the bill or the warranty card in the grey market. It has been available at a cheaper price than the official one. Now that the device is available in the official stores, those who want the real phone with original papers and warranty card will be heading right to the official stores.
The Nexus 4 packs a 4.7-inch screen with 768x1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. The smart phone has a 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System. The device comes with dual cameras. One of the major drawback of the Nexus 4 smart phone is that it does not have slot for memory expansion.
