ASUS Announced Memo pad FHD 10 and Memo Pad HD 7 Tablets

ASUS announced two more Tablets in the COMPUTEX.

COMPUTEX, other wise known as the or Taipei International Information Technology Show, is the annual computer expo held in Taipei, Taiwan. The COMPUTEX 2013 is going on now and so many gadgets are getting launched in the event. ASUS is a major factor in contributing to the long list of gadgets appearing in the expo. Recently, the company announced two of its new tablets in the COMPUTEX. Dubbed Memo pad FHD 10 and Memo Pad HD 7, the devices will be releasing sooner than later.



In addition to the bunch of hardware showing off in the COMPUTEX, ASUS has unwrapped two more tablets, belonging to their Memo Pad series. They are the 10 inch Memo Pad FHD and the Memo Pad HD 7. the Memo Pad 10 inch FHD (Full HD) will be the more attractive one among the two. Lets examine the features of both the Memo Pad tablets.

10 inch Memo Pad FHD:

As the name indicates, the device will be having a display screen of 10 inch size. The screen will be having 1920×1080 pixels resolutions, with IPS technology. The device will be having an Intel Atom processor. This version of the Memo Pad will e an updated version in the sense that it will be having a high resolution screen and a quad core processor, unlike the usual Memo Pad devices.

As we mentioned above, the device will be coming with an Intel Atom Z2560 CPU running at 1.6Ghz, a Clover Trail model. The tablet will be featuring dual stereo speakers. For its memory storage, the tablet will be having 16 or 32GB of internal storage, and an external memory card slot to increase the memory.

The device has dual cameras. There will be a 5 MP rear camera at the rear side of the tablet and a 1.2 MP front camera too. The company is claiming that the device can give you a battery life of 10 hours. The company has not yet revealed the RAM or the price tag of the device. Most probably, the device will be releasing only after the month of September. Most probably, the device will be available in Blue, White and Pink shades.

The Memo Pad HD 7 inches:

The 7 inch screen sized tablet, the Memo Pad HD 7,will be having a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The tablet will be having an internal storage memory of 8GB or 16GB, with an option to expand the memory using the microSD card slot. The users will be getting an expanded 16GB of ASUS web storage for a year. It will be having 1GB of RAM. It also has dual stereo speakers. Just like its 10 inch variant, this tablet also will be featuring twin cameras. A 5 MP rear camera ad a 1.3 MP front camera will be there to fulfil the camera needs. It ill be having a battery life of 10 hours. The company has announced that the 7 inch version of this Memo Pad will be having a quad core processor, but they did not reveal the model or the speed. Though the company did not reveal the version of Android it will be using, but most probably, that will be the 4.2 version.

The most attractive part of the 7 inch version of the Memo Pad is its price tag. The device is coming with a price tag of rupees 7,300/- for the 8GB version and rupees 8,500/- for the 16GB version. Both the versions are expecting a release in the month of July. Both will be coming in Black, White, Pink and Green colour variations.
