Canvas smartphones are doing a great business for the Indian mobile manufacturer Micromax. Since the launch of Canvas brand in 2010, Micromax has been doing an incredible job in the smartphone market. The A100 was the first product to be launched in the Canvas series. Moreover, this is becoming an unbearable challenge to world class smartphone sellers, Samsung, HTC, and LG. The company has claimed that it has reached selling one million Canvas units. It had been reported that 9000 units of Canvas HD products sold out during the launch date.
When the Canvas HD was launched in the last Valentine Day, the firm directly targeted the Samsung Galaxy Grand. As the all new Canvas 4 is to touch the digital world soon, it has been rumoured that the gadget would be all fetuared to penetrate the stake of South Korean smartphone giant, Samsung's flagship mobile, the Galaxy S4.
Scattering anticipation on the smartphone world, Micromax has screened couple of teasers on Canvas 4. The advertise themes a slogan, “Can life be endless?”. Though there is no official sources on its technical specification, rumours, leaks and predictions are always there to reach them.
The Canvas 4 is expected to have a 5 inch screen having a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device light be working on Google's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, which will be upgraded later to v5.0 (Key Lime Pie). It will have a Mediatek quad-core processor to speed up the procedures and functions while smartphoning.
The device will carry a 16 GB internal storage. The memory could be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. A 1.5 GB RAM is quiet expected. There is no regret to say that the Canvas 4 will be equipped with a 13 MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera for video chatting. The gadget will be available in both white and colors. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000.
Currently Micromax has 7 gadgets under Canvas brand name- Canvas 2, Canvas 2 Plus, , Canvas Music, Canvas Doodle, Canvas 3D,Canvas Viva,and Canvas HD. Out of which, the Canvas 3D takes the Galaxy S3, while the Canvas HD competes with the Galaxy Grand. When the Canvas arrives it would hopefully be a good time to watch the strong competition.
The Canvas 4 is likely to priced between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000.
