Videocon launches quad-core A55HD smartphone for Rs. 13,499

The smartphone market is getting more and more competitive. New smartphones and new companies are sprouting like the blink of the eye. Adding spices to the war, Videocon has launched their new smartphone with Quad core processor. It seems like the company has realised the secret recipe of successful smartphones among common people – rich specs and lesser price tag. The new smartphone from Videocon, code named A55HD, is a quad core smartphone, with a budget friendly price tag of 13,499 Rupees.



The smartphone will be featuring s a 5-inch One Glass Solution (OGS) capacitive touchscreen of HD display, with a pixel resolution of 1280×720. it will be having a very decent pixel density, with 293 ppi. The major highlight of the smartphone is its 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone will be coming with a RAM of with 1GB and 4GB of internal memory.



The device will be packing Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. The A55HD smartphone will be having dual cameras. There will be an 8MP rear camera and a 3.2 MP front camera. The rear camera has the features like auto focus, panorama and burst mode. The phone will be having a 2000 mAh battery to power up the whole system. It has all the connectivity options, including Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSPA, GPS with A-GPS etc.
