Here comes LG's yet another smartphone of this year, LG G Pro Lite. In the official announcement, they made it clear that the device will be shipping to Latin America this month itself, which will e followed by other countries like India. There are rumours that the device might be carrying a price tag of Rs. 20,000/-.
With a 5.5 inch display, the device is running on Android 4.1.2. operating system. The screen has a resolution of 960×540 pixels, with qHD. There is a 1 GHz dual-core MT6577 processor in the hood. The processor is coupled with a 1 GB RAM too. The G Pro Lite smartphone can support dual SIM. This mid ranged smartphone will be targeting budget conscious markets like India, China and Russia it seems.
The device comes with a stylus pen. So, we can expect some apps exclusively for that. Other than the 1 GB RAM, the G Pro Lite smartphone will be having an 8 GB of internal storage and an external memory card slot to expand the memory. There is an 8 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front camera. For its connectivity options, the device has Wi- Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. there is a removable 3140 mAh battery to power up the whole device.
Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said, "With LG G Pro Lite, we are introducing a competitive device to the masses in the growing large smartphone market. The market for smartphones with displays over five inches will continue to grow and LG is in a great position to capture these new customers when they're ready to move up from their current phones."
