Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Announced

The next gen Grand Samsung gets coupled with better features.

Samsung has just announced the second generation variant of the Galaxy Grand, the Galaxy Grand 2. The all new Grand 2 certainly features much more than that of its predecessor. The price and the launch date of the gadget are yet to be revealed by the South Korean firm.



The Grand 2 comes with a bigger 5.25-inch HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, which is further boosted up by 1.5 GB RAM.

Samsung offers 8GB internal storage with a microSD card slot where memory is expandable upto 32GB.

The device is run on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS. It is not clear whether there is an update to Android v4.4 KitKat version or not.

It sports an 8MP camera with LED flash at rear and a 1.9MP camera in front.

The highlight of the Grand 2 is its dual-sim standby feature. It has 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity.

With a 2,600mAh battery, the firm offers 17 hours of talktime. The Grand 2 will be available in white, black and pink colours.

Meanwhile, the gadget is preloaded with Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Samsung Hub, Samsung Link and Group Play.

Micromax Canvas Turbo, LG G Pro Lite, and Sony Xperia C are the major rivals of the Grand 2.
