Samsung had promised a back to basics approach in Galaxy S5, after admitting that it made mistakes with the S4. According to sources in the know, galaxy S5 will be equipped with dust and water resistant capabilities, slightly curved screen, in-built Fingerprint Scanner, Heart-rate Monitor, an Exynos 6 octa-core / quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, Android 4.4 KitKat and much more.
The Galaxy S5 comes with a better camera having 16 MP resolution, which will be able to shoot 4K UHD video at 30FPS and 1080p FHD video at 60FPS. It is expected that Samsung will use its ISOCELL Technology in its camera sensor. The device will showcase the all new “Side Touch” feature where the dedicated camera button will be invisible, but you can simply tap on the side of the device to take a picture. Also many new modes (For eg: Focus Select) and features are incorporated into the new Galaxy device.
Galaxy S5 also sports a 5.25-inch QHD bezel-free display of 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, 2GB of RAM, 3.2 Front Camera, 32/64 GB of internal storage and microSD slot and a 3,200 mAh battery. It will come in both metallic and plastic variants.
Even after all these feature additions, Galaxy S5 doesn’t seem to excite many. Also Samsung hasn’t succeeded much in generating a buzz before the launch of S5. The global search interest for Galaxy S5 is much less compared to S4. But all these data could be proven wrong once the device is launched. Lets wait and watch the fate of Samsung Galaxy S5.
