Micromax launched the all new Canvas Breeze Tab P660

Micromax updates its Canvas series of tablets by adding the Breeze P660, 3G and voice calling tablet, with a price tag of Rs. 9685 in India.

Micromax introduces the all new Android tablet into the market, the Canvas Breeze P660 Tablet. The company has maintained an elegant look and stylish design which makes it to stand by the premium class of tablets available. The Canvas Breeze comes in mainly two shades, red and black. The fully loaded tablet from Micromax includes a 7.85 inch 163 pixel per inch screen with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. The Breeze Tab comes with an HD IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen. The display also features Multi touch capability.

The tablet comes with a 3G and Voice calling facility, which is absent in other tablets in the same price range. Dual sim (GSM + GSM) allows the user to get an easy swipe over from one sim to another. Although it features voice calling and 3G facility, the tablet runs on an outdated Android version (Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean) which is the only reason that drives back this tablet. Micromax has used a 1.2GHz Quad Core processor in the Canvas Breeze.

With an internal storage of 8GB and an external storage capacity of 32GB the Micromax Canvas Breeze Tab comes with a 1GB RAM capacity. Battery backup may not be an issue as the company assures a long standby time with the powerful 4000mAh Li-Ion battery.

The Breeze P660 tablet is equipped with a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 2MP front camera. It allows the users to capture quick shots and the camera also has a video facility. Other camera features includes rear camera AF (Auto Focusing), panorama view mode, face beauty mode, HDR mode, smile detection shot.

The pricing of the Micromax Canvas Breeze P660 Tab was announced as 10k but it is now available at a rate of 9,685/- in online stores.

Micromax is expecting a comparatively higher success rate for the P660 tablet in the country soon after the release of its all new smartphone, the Micromax Bolt AD3520. The seemingly low priced smartphone comes with a 3.5 inch HVGA 320X480 pixels LCD Capacitive Touchscreen and includes 16.7 million colors. The device includes a 20MP rear camera with LED flash which is able to capture high resolution pictures and 720p video recording capability. With a price quoted at 3,490/-, the smartphone runs on an Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. Equipped with a 1.3GHz Dual Core processor the AD3520 claims to have a decent battery life with a Li-Ion 1500mAh battery. Storage capacity of the device includes a 512MB RAM accompanied by a 4GB internal memory and an external expandable memory up to 32GB.
