Panasonic T33 dual-SIM phone launched at Rs. 4,490

Panasonic's latest 3G budget smartphone.

The Panasonic T33 is an entry-range smartphone by Panasonic which will be available to the users at a price of Rs 4,490/-. At the release of the smarrtphone the Panasonic officials commented that this smartphone is to empower the users to communicate in their own mother tongue as the phone is designed and developed to supporrt 21 regional languages which includes Malayalam, Tamil, Urdu, Kannada and Hindi to name a few. The phone will be available in the market from the third week of July in Pearl White & Duke Blue colors.



The device sports a 4 inch WVGA display. The phone measures 125.8x65x10.1mm for the dimensions and weighs 126 gms. The rear comes in a leather like finished back.

Panasonic T33

Being horse-powered by a 1.2 Ghz quad core processor, the Panasonic T33 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with 512 MB of RAM and just a mere 4 GB of internal memory. The external memory can be expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD slots.
Sporting a 3 MP rear camera with LED flash, the T33 is complemented with a VGA shooter with 0.3 MP in the front.

Panasonic T33 Launched

The battery capacity will be 1500 mAh. The connectivity features include GPRS/EDGE, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. With these features and an economic price bracket the T33 may be a stiff competion for Micromax Canvas Spark, Nokia Lumia 630, Motorola Moto E and Samsung Galaxy Core Duos.

The highlight of the phone is definitely the support for the regional languages. There has been quite a few recent launches of smartphones that have supported the regional languages. The iball Avnote 5 and Lava Iris 402e are a few in the list. They were priced at Rs. 5,999/- and Rs. 4,999/- respectively. As far as the design is concerned the phone bears a simple and conventional build with an exception of a leather like finished rear. The dual SIM phone(GSM+GSM) will be an affordable device for those wanting to lay their hands on a little bit of necessary technology.
