Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G at RS. 11,100.

Samsung has today announced their Galaxy Grand Prime 4G in India carrying a price of Rs. 11,100/- The company says with the launch of the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G in India, Samsung now has 14 4G LTE-capable models in the country. The device is the latest addition to the line of Samsung's affordable smartphones with 4G LTE capacity. Taking into account the company's latest releases we can come to the conclusion that they have been aiming to release a lot of mid-level range devices and the Grand Prime 4G also falls into that category. With futile results from all those releases we hope that at least the Grand Prime 4G will change the course of things for Samsung.



The Galaxy Grand Prime 4G device sports a 5 inch Quad HD TFT display with a screen resolution of 540x960 pixels. It measures 144.8x72.1x8.6mm and weighs 156 grams. The smartphone will be available in White, Grey, and Gold color variants.



Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor the device is coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Grand Prime features a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 5 MP snapper with 85 degree wide angle lens. The 8GB of internal storage can be further expanded to another 64 GB via micro SD card. The 2,600mAh battery is guaranteed to deliver up to more than 13 hours of power usage time.



When coming to the connectivity options the dual-SIM device includes 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung's TouchWiz UI skin running on top in contrast to the Android 4.4 KitKat featured in its earlier released 3G variant. The phone supports both Band 3 and Band 40, which means it's compatible with 4G networks being distributed in our country at present.
