Lenovo A7000 Plus launched in Philippines for Rs 11,500

Lenovo has unwrapped A7000 Plus a worthy upgrade to the earlier released Lenovo A7000 which was priced at Rs 8,999. The handset will be available for purchase from Tuesday via a local e-commerce website and will be priced approximately around Rs 11,500/- Nothing has been revealed about the availability of the device in other regions. The release was a silent one without much abuzz and media coverage. Lets take a look at what the device has to offer us.



The A7000 Plus flaunts a 5.5 inch HD screen with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels which is in contrast to the lesser resolution of 720x1280 pixels of the A7000. The dimensions comes up to 152.6x76.2x7.99mm and weighs 140 grams. Even the processor has been improved as the handset will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) SoC clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage comes with a 16 GB and can be further expanded. Based on Android Lollipop the device performs much better than its predecessor.

The 13 MP rear camera is best in class when compared to the 8 MP of the A7000. The front houses in a 5 MP selfie camera for video calls and taking selfies. Being backed by a 3000mAH battery the device supports 4G LTE (FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20; TDD Band 40), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB, just like its predecessor. The dual-SIM smartphone features speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology.
