The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Lenovo has begun sending press invites to the much anticipated launch of Lenovo Vibe Shot in India. The device was initially introduced earlier in January during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. At present the availability of the handset is very limited and the company is all set to overcome it by unveiling it in India really soon. The handset will be launched on September 22nd via a digital launch. The live stream will be available as well. Lenovo A7000 was one of the other device that was showcased during the MWC and has been a huge hit after its release. The handset is all set to hit the Indian markets for a price of Rs 20,000/-
The Lenovo Vibe Shot flaunts a 5 inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The screen is also layered with Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 for extra protection. The handset will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.7GHz. The processor comes bundled up with 3 GB of RAM space. The internal memory of 32 GB can be further expanded to another 32 GB via a micro SD card. The dimensions of the Vibe Shot comes up to 142 x 70 x 7.3mm and weighs 145 grams.
Being backed by a 2,900mAh battery the device offers 4G LTE connectivity. The major highlight of the dual-SIM handset is of course its camera. That's the reason why it has been named as “Vibe Shot”. The 16 MP rear camera includes a six-piece modular lens which equips a BSI sensor and a tri-color LED flash. In order to capture images in the low light, the Vibe Shot features a full-frame 16:9 low-light sensor. The infrared autofocus helps the user to experience more accurate focus and in real quick time. An 8 MP front snapper is also spotted on board to cater to your selfie needs.
Based on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo's new Vibe UI, the handset will be available in Graphite Grey, Pearl White and Crimson color variants. In fact the Vibe Shot is one of those handsets which comes with a dedicated camera button and next to which is a switch when toggled swappes between smart shooting and pro shooting modes. With the pro shooting mode a complete control over the photography is taken over which includes manually setting the exposure, ISO, white balance etc. Where as the smart shooting mode automatically adjusts the camera according to the scenes.
