Coolpad Rogue launched for Rs.3,300

Coolpad Rogue Entry-Level Smartphone With Android 5.1.1 and 4G.

To purchase an inexpensive Android smartphone is pretty simple these days as we have seen several budget level offerings by the popular OEM's. The Moto G 2015, Asus ZenFOne 2 sure gives you great value for the money you spend on them. So now if you are on a hunt for a significantly economy level offering then Coolpad has just announced a new smartphone- the Coolpad Rogue for $50 which is approximately Rs.3,300.



The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA display with a screen resolution of 480x800 pixels. The handset will be powered by a dual-core 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 304 which comes bundled with 1 GB of RAM space. The 4GB of internal memory can be further expanded to a 32 GB via a micro SD card. The dimensions of the handset measures up to 126.5x64.4x13.2mm.

Coolpad Rogue

The connectivity features includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, FM radio, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. The 2 MP rear sensor is complimented by a 0.3 MP front snapper for selfies and video chats. Though Coolpad has not revealed the battery size, the phone claims to offer 6 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.

The process featured under the hood is not yet known. The handset is an epitome of a budget handset with its 2 MP rear and VGA resolution front snapper. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes in as a surprise feature for this handset.

The Coolpad Rogue’s specs certainly aren’t anything special. But for this price tag, this might be a viable option for first-time smartphone buyers or someone who is looking to ditch their old feature phone.
