The Gionee Pioneer P3S will be sporting a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 480x854 pixels. The Android 5.1 Lollipop based handset with the Amigo 3.1 UI on top comes in White, Grey, Red and Golden color options. The handset will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM space. The 16 GB of inbuilt storage is much better in contrast to the 4GB by its predecessor. The storage space can be further expanded to a 32 GB via a micro SD card.
On the camera front, the Gionee Pioneer P3S sports a 5 MP rear camera with options of continuous shots and Panorama modes. A 0.3 MP VGA resolution camera is also on board which has Face Beauty feature to enhance your selfie shots. Apart from 3G, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB as its connectivity options. A 2,000mAh battery provides enough juice for a day and is also backed by an additional feature of “Extreme Mode” which when activated enables the last 10 percent of the battery power to last for more than the stipulated time.
