Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini unveiled for Rs.4,399

Soon after the success of the Lava Pixel V2, the Lava Mobiles have launched the Iris Fuel F1 Mini which is the latest addition to the Iris range. Priced at Rs.4,399 the handset has been listed on the company's website and is likely to hit the markets soon.



The dual-SIM Iris Fuel F1 Mini sports a 4 inch WVGA display with a screen resolution of 480x800 pixels. The dimensions of the handset comes up to 125.5x63.4x10.85mm and weighs 120 grams. The F1 Mini runs on a 1GHZ single-core processor which comes loaded with 512 MB of RAM. An in-built storage of 8GB is on board which can be further expanded up to 32 GB. For better performance the handset comes equipped with Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.

The 5 MP rear camera comes with LED flash, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, and HDR options. On the front sits a VGA resolution secondary camera. When it comes to connectivity the handset supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The available color variants for purchase are Black and White. A 2,000mAh battery provides power to the handset for a standby time of 157 hours and 19 hours of talk time.

It looks like the domestic smartphone manufacturers are focusing more on the sub-Rs.5K range, as we saw quite a number of offerings from this segment. The Lava Iris Fuel F1 Mini smartphone will compete against Micromax's recently launched budget 4G offerings including the Micromax Canvas Spark 2, Fire 2 and Play 2.
