The Xperia go, the latest smart gadget from the home of Sony. It seems that Sony has realized its necessity of being in one of the most successful businesses with its new range of Xperia samrtphones after its partition from the Swedish consortium Ericsson. Just like Samsung does, Sony unveils a showcase full of smartphones and couple more to be unveiled soon.
Sony’s Xperia go is a mid range smartphone which has a lovely 3.5 inch, scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen. It displays 16 million colours with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The CPU is powered by 1 GHz NovaThor™ U8500 Dual-core Cortex A9. The mobile runs in Googl’e much praised Android v2.3 Gingerbread and can be upgraded to Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Need not to get panicked on its standard 1305 mAh Li-Ion Battery, since it is expected to provide talk time of 6.5 hours, standby time of 520 hours, music listening time of 45 hours and video playback time: 6 hours.
The Xperia go is priced at Rs. 17680, and available in white, black and yellow colors.
