Sony Launched Xperia ion

Yet another smarter from the Japanese electronics giant, Sony Mobile Communications AB. This time Sony unveiled its most featured smartphone ever, the Xperia ion. Thanks to the launch of smartphones in each segments, so that more customers get attracted to Sony gadgets. Currently the market is ruled by Samsung Android smarts.

The Xperia ion comes with a wide 4.6-inch (11.7cm) scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Its HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine showcases a new way of displaying.



Running in Google’s Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, Xperia ion stands along with the other high end gadgets in its class. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor which is coupled with Adreno 220 GPU on the MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset in order to ensure a better graphics.

Moreover, a 12.1 MP primary autofocus camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP secondary camera once again prove the ability of Sony in providing the best camera in the high end smartphones ever.

Alike the other Xperias, the Xperia ion also offers an expandable memory upto 32 GB using a Micro SD card but along with an internal memory of 16 GB. And 1GB RAM will surely faster the procedures. The Xperia ion is certainly the most featured in the tabulation of Xperia smartphones, thus priced the highest at Rs.36,999.

Sony also plans to unveil four products soon. They are the Xperia tipo, the Xperia tipo dual, the Xperia miro and the Xperia SL.
