HTC unveiled the younger sibling of the 8X, the 8S. The 8S is equipped with comparatively cheaper features considering the 8X. The all new 8X is tabulated in among the mid-range smartphones.
It comes with 4 inch super LCD touch screen which is coated by Gorilla Glass protection. A 1 GHz Dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor with 512 MB of RAM does its works better. It is equipped with a 5 MP rear camera and it lacks a front facing camera. So video calls won't be working in the 8S. However, HTC thinks that for a price tag of £224.98, the 8S can't be a uphill for the customers.
The 8S is expected to hit worldwide markets on November 15. In US, the 8S will be officially retailed by AT&T and T-Mobile, so carrier 3 will do it in UK. As it comes in the mid-range list of smartphones, HTC majorly targets college students and working women with the all new 8S.
