World's biggest computer software consortium, Microsoft Corporation entered into the world tablet market by launching the Surface tablet. The Surface starts at a price tag of $499, which clearly declares an open war against tablet super seller, Apple's iPad.
At present the Surface tab is only available to be purchased online in USA, France, Australia, Canada, Holland and United Kingdom.
The Surface is run by Windows RT operating system. Displaying a larger10.6 inches ClearType HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Microsoft pulls down iPad's smaller diaplay. Accompanied with 2 GB RAM, the tablet is highly powered by NVIDIA T30 processor. Two 720p HD cameras at front and rear somehow satisfies camera freaks.
The most wondering fact with the Surface tab is that it comes with a keypad. This makes the tab more than being just a mere tablet. And the days to be dawned will witness some hot competition between iPad and newly launched Surface tablet.
