Samsung is leaving no room for its competitors, but leaving them all far behind its long line up of products. Now the South Korean mobile giant has announced a budget phablet, the Galaxy Grand. The Grand comes with a 5 inch TFT LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. With Samsung TouchWiz UI, the things are never more draggy here.
Its bigger screen lists the gadget among the tabulation of phablets. An 8 MP camera with LED flash at rear and a 2 MP front camera fro video chats. Though the Grand is mated with the most powerful chip, its 1.2 GHz dual-core processor which is assisted by a 1 GB RAM does a good job. The device also has an inbuilt memory of 8 GB and it can be further expanded up to 32/64 GB. Moreover, the Grand will be run by Google's Android v4.1 Jelly Bean. A 2100 mAh Li-on standard battery also doesn't disappoint a perpetual user.
Examining the features it is very clear that the Grand is never a high end smartphone since it doesn't meet the technical specifications of the most featured gadgets of Samsung alike the S3 and the Note 2. Thus it is mentioned that Samsung wants to distribute a budget phablet which can be affordable for the masses and then to capture maximum share in the world smartphone market.
