Review of Karbonn Smart A111

Karbonn's second New Year gift to the tech world has made its entry to the market rather secretly. The company has not even announced it officially, yet the phone is available in Flipkart. Flipkart has listed it saying that it might take 2-3 business days to deliver. that means that the company will be announcing its launch with in this very week itself. Karbonn Smart A111 is a dual sim phone with capacitive multi touch screen. Earlier last month, Karbonn had announced their S1 Titanium smartphone at a price tag of Rs. 10,990. it was then considered as the cheapest smartphone available in India with that much specifications. But now, Karbonn is over coming its own record with the new Smart A111.The main features of Karbonn Smart A111are as follows:



Design and Exterior:

The multi touch screened Smart A111 has not yet reached anyone's hand to come out with a firsthand report. Yet, the build and exterior looks like a typical low coat smartphone. Though there are two colour variations of the phone, only the Black one has reached the Flipkart. The White variant might make its entry along with the official announcement.



Display:



The phone has a display of 5 Inches. It features Multi-touch and Pinch-to-Zoom facilities. The screen has a resolution of 960×540 pixels.

CPU and Performance:

Karbonn Smart A111 is packed with a 1.2 GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Scorpion Processor. It has sensors like G-Sensor, Proximity, and accelerometer sensor. The phone comes with Dual SIM facility, Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby.

Operating System:

Karbonn Smart A111 runs on the platform of Android v4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System.

Camera:



Karbonn Smart A111 packs twin cameras. the primary 5 Mega Pixel rear camera has 2592×1944 pixels resolution. The rear camera is accompanied by an LED flash light. It has Auto Focus, Burst Mode, Face Detection features and video recording too. The phone has a VGA front camera too.

Internet and Connectivity:

The phone has 3G Network 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-fi Hotspot, USB, GPS Support with A-GPS and Bluetooth v2.1, Supported Profiles (A2DP). It has GPRS and WAP too.

Storage:

The phone has a RAM of 512 MB, 4 GB ROM, and an expandable memory up to 32GB.

Battery:

Karbonn Smart A111 smartphone is powered by a Li-ion Battery with 2100 mAH capacity. According to the company's claim, it will have a Stand By Time Up to 200 hours and Talk Time Up to 4-5 hours.

Price:



The phone is currently available only on Flipkart. It has not reached direct markets. In Flipkart, it has a price tag of Rs. 10290. For a Dual SIM smartphone with this much specifications, the price tag is light weighted, one could say. Flipkart offers 1 year manufacturer warranty for Phone and 6 months warranty for in the box accessories.
