Samsung Galaxy S4:
When Samsung has released their brand new Galaxy S4, the tech world has been keenly waiting. As expected, it came with a 5-inch Super AMOLED full-HD Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display. It has a screen resolution of 1920×1080 with 441ppi pixel density. The clarity of the screen is simply superb that you will just fall in love with it.
Sony Xperia Z:
With its water resistant 5 inch Capacitive touchscreen, Xperia Z calmly announces its presence in the market. It has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The 441 ppi pixel density makes the pixels literally invisible. Any Full HD movies you choose to watch on the Z will receive a pixel-for-pixel reproduction on the phone’s large display. Even if that's largely a psychological comfort rather than a practical advantage, one can not merely neglect that comfort. Apple iPhone 5:
Whichever new ones come and go, the legend will always remain the legend. The Retina Display of iPhone is still a heartthrob for many. Though it was introduced two generations back, it is still a trend setter. Though the current display on the iPhone 5 is not technically HD (i.e. 1280×720), it surpasses the 320 ppi mark. The LED backlit IPS display has really good viewing angles and very accurate colour reproduction. The display is also bright enough to be easily used in sunlight without much difficulty.
HTC One:
Though the title says “Best five smartphones”, we can not conclude the session without mentioning HTC One. The 4.7 inches display screen of the phone has very vibrant and sharp display. It has the ever bestest pixel density- 468 pixels per inch. The HTC One's Super LCD 3 display offers full 1080p resolution. It offers offers great viewing angles and colour reproduction. It has better contrast, with deep blacks and nice bright whites.
There are some other smartphones, which are also pretty good as far as the Display is concerned. They are, Nokia Lumia 920, LG Optimus G and Xperia ZL. Consider all these phones before buying a phone, if you are a person, whose criteria for the “best phone” is its screen display.
