Design:
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has for its measurement, 111.1×188×9.9 mm. It weighs around 302 grams. The device will be shipping in White colour variation.
Display Screen:
Tab 3 will be featuring a 7 inches display screen. It will be a capacitive touch screen display with 600x 1024 pixel resolution. The device will have a pixel density of 170 ppi. The screen will have multi touch in put feature too. Being a 3G tablet, the web browsing will be the most used application in the tab. As the screen has only 7 inches, one can easily handle that device.
OS:
The device will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It will be offering access to the Google Play Store, through which you can download a lot of games and useful applications.
Processor:
The Tab 3 will be powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, supported by 1 GB of RAM.
Storage:
The tablet will be having 1GB of RAM as we mentioned above. It will be having an internal storage capacity of 8/16 GB. Whether there will be either 8GB or 16 GB, or will the company be releasing both the versions is not yet clarified. In this matter, we will have to wait for further confirmation. There will be a microSD card slot for expanding the memory. The microSD card will be helping in expanding the memory up to 64GB.
Connectivity:
Tab 3 is a Wi-Fi enabled tablet. For connectivity options, it will have Bluetooth version v3.0 with A2DP, micro USB port, and GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS.
Camera:
The device will be having dual cameras. The rear camera will be of 3.15 MP. There will be a front camera of 1.3 mega pixel. It will be helpful in video calling.
Battery:
The Galaxy Tab 3 will be having a non-removable Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery. The talk time and stand by time of the battery are not yet revealed by the company.
Releasing date:
As the device got announced officially, the next question is about its releasing. Most probably, the device will be releasing in the later weeks of the month of May or by the beginning of June. Taking into consideration the releasing behaviour of Samsung's tabs, the release of the new tab can fall in between May and September.
Expected price:
Though there are no certainty in the price tag of Galaxy Tab 3, taking in to consideration the features of the tablet, we can roughly calculate the price as around 12,000/- Indian Rupees.
