It is in the display and battery that the two phones really differ. The BB Z10 has a 4.2-inch 720p LCD display. The BB Q10 has a 3.1 inch Super AMOLED display. Here the advantage is obvious. The Z10 scores here with the bigger display and the display technology. The bigger screen will be desirable for better browsing experience, viewing pictures, watching videos etc. If you are a person who doesn't want all these then you can go for the Q10. If not for all these, then why are you buying a smartphone, man? So, in short, when it comes to the display screen size, the BB Z10 is the clear winner.
But this has got an other side too. If a person is buying a smartphone for the above mentioned reasons, he will never go for a BB device, right? There are thousands of smartphones out in the market with better screen resolution and display. BB devices are known for their brand name. No easy go lucky fellows will own a BB. The smaller screen of the BB Q10 will be a blessing when it comes to the battery life. As we all know, the smaller and the simple the display be, the longer will be the battery life. The BB Q10 has a 2,100mAh battery, which is all the more better than the 1,800 mAh battery of the BB Z10 smartphone. Obviously the better battery belongs to the Q10. Its small screen and AMOLED display saves the power and the device has a pretty lengthy battery life than the BB Z10.As both the devices are running BB10 operating system, a comparison is not possible there.
Summing up, we feel that the BB Z10 is the better phone among the two. The Q10 might have been the best if it was released a few months ago. Physical QWERTY key pad is really out dated now. Considering the era in which we live and of course the recent trends, the BB Z10 is a more 2013 smartphone than the BB Q10. And also, the trend in the smartphone, market is to fall for the bigger screened devices. Here too, the BB Z10 has got an upper hand over the BB Q10 smartphone.
