Lenovo Vibe Z - First Look and Review

The best of Lenovo and the right challenger to Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

It seems like all tech giants are into the smartphone market by launching devices one after another. Lenovo, which is one of the best PC sellers in the world, has recently launched a phablet, the Vibe Z. The gadget is packed with a good number of stunning features to explore the market share further. However, the firm hasn't disclosed the price of the Vibe Z. Of course, the success of the product is depended on its pricing. Meanwhile, let's examine how's the all new Lenovo stuff.



Design
The Vibe Z looks alright. It's nothing great looking, but an average stuff. Nothing much to stare at. Lenovo could have given a better finish outfit for the gadget, that could have added a richness to it. In these days, there are people who choose gadgets for the attractive design that have. So it's very important to build up a device in a world class design and reliability. Still, there is something to cheer up. That is the flip cover of the Vibe Z, which look like inspired from Samsung's S View Cover for Galaxy Note 3. Except that Vibe Z has a slidable trackpad to easily attend an incoming call.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset which is compriced of 2.2GHz quad-core Krait, 2GB RAM, and Adreno 330 GPU. This definitely makes the device as one of the most performing phablets in the market. High-end games, fast internet browsing, and better smartphoning are done here.

The Vibe Z is run on Google's Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, which is not the latest Android version available in the market. Storage
The phablet has 16 GB inbuilt memory, which is further assisted by an external microSD card slot, which can input up to 32 GB. This looks absolutely cool and you can store a lot here. Be it movies, music or images.

It comes with a 13 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and dual-LED flash, which ensure perfect photography and makes things possible even in lowlight. Though the firm hasn't disclosed much details about the battery, it is expected to provide a standard standby of 278.5 hours, which makes the device only an average one as the key player, the Note 3, ensures 420 hours standby in 3G network.

Price
Lenovo hasn't revealed the price tag of the Vibe Z yet. Still, the phablet is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs. 30,000, which will be another nighmare for Samsung, Sony, and HTC brands.

Verdict
The Lenovo is offering a lot. The Vibe Z is certainly a high-end phablet that offers almost all features and is mated with high-end technical specifications. Thanks for that, because Lenovo hasn't compromised on anything except the design. It would have been an awesome smartphone, if the device has a rich exterior look. Yup! It's a worth buying stuff.
