Micromax Canvas Juice

Yet another smartphone from the Indian smartphone giant, Micromax. Seems like Micromax is having the biggest deal in the industry after Samsung, who is the king in the smartphone business world. Micromax was hardly sold in earlier days. Now things are changed. Thanks to the brand name – Canvas. Since the launch of Canvas series, the largest Indian mobile manufacturer didn't have to look back. The firm is cracking out each and every smartphone class by launching a bunch of gadgets in every range. The Canvas Juice A77 is the latest to hit in the market under the Canvas Series.



Design
The all new Canvas Juice looks pretty cool. The finish is fine. You can have a good looking device at this price tag. That's it. And it's nothing of bigger quality for it's only a budget friendly device with maximum number of features pinned with it. So definitely you have to compromise for few things. Still, Micromax has built up a good quality gadget which is likely to last long.



Display
The gadget comes with a 5 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It has 196 ppi pixel density. Though the size of the display is large enough, the resolution and ppi aren't so. Still, being a budget device and having a 5 inch touchscreen is really a cool stuff.

Processor and Performance
It is powered by a Dual-core 1.3 GHz which is assisted by 1 GB RAM. This is absolutely cool in this budget. The CPU can run the device to perform very well. You may be free to play even high-end games with least stuck at the extreme clocking of processor.



Operating System
The Juice is run on Google's Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It's not sure whether the gadget can be updated to the latest Android version, 4.4 KitKat or not. Chances are less only since the Juice is a mid-size smartphone. Moreover, the flagship device of Micromax, the Canvas Turbo, is yet to get updated to KitKat.

Storage
The device has 4 GB internal memory where you can store Apps in 1.27GB and data in 672 MB. And the left space is already preloaded with Apps. For additional storage there is a memory card slot where you can input a microSD card of up tp 32 GB.



Camera
It is mated with a 5 MP rear cam with an LED flash. It has 1280x720 pixels resolution which is good enough for average photography and videography. For video chat there is a 0.3 VGA front cam as well.

Battery
Now stop worrying about battary backup. The Canvas Juice is packed with a massive 3000 mAh battery. The firm ensures 282 hours standby and 10 hours talktime.

Price
For 5 inch touchscreen, 1.3 Dual core processor, 5 MP cam, and 3000 mAh battery, you need to pay only Rs. 7,999, which is absolutely a great pricing by Micromax.

Verdict
Certainly a true budget smartphone. There are enough features. If you're looking for budget smartphone with good number of features at better pricing, you may go for it.
