Sony is Preparing Four more Android Smartphones

Sony is reported to be making four more Android smartphones for later this year.

Sony seems to be well planned to acquire the smartphone market in the year 2013. it is only the fourth month of the year and Sony has already released five smartphones. That too, keeping a pretty good versatility in the price range. From the sky high priced Xperia Z and Xperia ZL, to the mid ranged Xperia SP, to the low end Xperia E and Xperia L, the list goes on. According to the latest news, the company has no intentions to stop by five.

Sony Android Smartphones Rumour

In a leaked rumour, Sony is said to be busy under the working of four more handsets. Reportedly, all the four are feature rich smartphones. The first rumour came straight from Japan. So, there are every possibility for the rumour to be a true news.

Sony Xperia Dogo

As per the report that came from Japan, Sony's yet another smartphone, which is under busy cooking is Sony Xperia A. It has been code named as “Dogo”. According to the report, it will be added to the Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo’s line-up sometime in the summer months. Sony Xperia A is expected to have a 4.6-inch screen. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. It will be having 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage capacity and hopefully, an external microsd card slot for memory expansion. The Xperia A will be powered by a 2300 mAh battery. Just like the Xperia Z, the Xperia A also will be Water resistant. So, we can except that the battery will be non removable. If it will be a removable battery, there will be some kind of a gap in the joints, which will make the handset unable to be water resistant. Xperia A expectedly will bring support for NFC along with it. An IR Blaster is also said to be in the feature pack.

The report from Japan also refers about Sony Xperia UL. The phone is codenamed “Gaga”. The name itself is interesting. We will have to wait to check whether the device is a real “Gaga” in the real sense. Xperia UL is rumoured to be very much similar to Xperia ZL. It also will be having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 under the hood. According to the report, the Xperia UL will be having a 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and of course an external expandable memory. Just like Xperia A, Xperia UL also will be having a 2300 mAh battery to power it up and also will be featuring NFC support.

Sony Xperia Togari Tablet Rumoured Picture

The leaked report from Japan has details about one more Sony device. This time it is a Phablet, codenamed Togari. The Togari’s supposed front panel was leaked earlier this year. In the leaked rumour, the Phablet is described as having a 6.4-inch full HD display. The rumour also says that Togari is currently being shown around to carriers in Japan in hope of a summer release.

There is yet another rumour, this time it is not from Japan. According to a Daily. Sony has plans to roll out a 5 inch entry level model smartphone in the third quarter of the year. It will be powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor. It will be manufactured by Arima. According to the tech experts, Sony will be targeting markets like India with this phone, where high specs with low price combination never fails.
