Micromax is reportedly getting ready with its first 3D Smartphone. Most likely, the model will be named Canvas 3D A115. Other than the 3D feature, Micromax will be bringing in a change in the hardware specs too, it seems.
According to some reports, the new Canvas mobile will be having a 5-inch display with 800×480 pixels resolution. It will have Android v4.1 OS (Jelly Bean) for its OS. It will feature a 1GHz dual-core CPU. The phone will be having 1GH RAM, 4G internal storage and an external memory, which is expandable using a microSD card. It has dual cameras. A rear camera of 8MP and a front facing camera of 2MP. The rear camera will be accompanied with an LED flash light.
The phone will be having a 3D interface. But it will not be having a 3D playback as we see in LG Optimus 3G.
Though there are no confirmation about the price of the device, we expect it to be around 15,000/- rupees. Micromax has really scored well recently with its Canvas A110 and Canvas HD A116 phablets.
Though the company has not yet announced the releasing date of the phone, some online shops have already included it in their list, with a notification “coming soon”. That shows the popularity of the brand.
