Sony is getting ready to show off Xperia A

Sony Xperia A will be announced in May 15th.

Sony seems to be well planned to become one of the most successful smart phone manufacturer of 2013. when the Xperia Z was followed by Xperia ZL, Xperia SP and Xperia XR, the tech world was sure that the list will not be ending here. That guess is proving to be right as new piece of information pops up about a possible Xperia A.

The rumour is that the company has approached the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) for approval. All devices have to get approval form FCC before releasing it in the US. The Xperia A 's some specs are leaked online. The device is expected to be yet another high end model like their flagship phone- the Xperia Z. the display of the Xperia A will be of 5 inches and it will be having 1080p resolution. The device will be supporting Sony's OmniBalance design. The wonder part about the phone is that the battery will be removable. Xperia A is said to have protective covers on its external ports, suggesting that it too will be water and dust resistant like the Xperia Z.

Actually, one of the main features of the Xperia A still remains unknown and that's its CPU. The smart phone is likely to pack. Happily, we won't have to wait much longer to find out, as NTT DoCoMo's summer lineup will be showcased on May 15. We'll have more details then. Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo will be releasing the device. The carrier has listed the product for their official announcement in May 15th. So, there will not be a long wait to know the details of the smart phone.

As we mentioned above, the removable battery is one of the major attractions of the phone. The Xperia A will be featuring a removable battery of 2,300 mAh. Though the device will be announced officially in May 15th, we will have to wait again for its shipping. The price of the device is also to be revealed. But, taking in to consideration the similarity of the Xperia A with Xperia Z, the price tag is not likely to be a budget friendly one.
