Micromax to launch quad-core A240 phablet

A 5.7 inch HD phablet is on its way from Micromax.

Bigger screened smartphones are releasing more often. After the Galaxy Mega from Samsung and Optimus G Pro from LG, its turn for the Indian based Micromax to release a big screened device. Rumours are there that Micromax is busy making a big screened smartphone, which will be belonging to the phablet category. Rumoured A240, the phablet will be launching soon it seems.



The rumoured spec list of the device includes a 5.7 inch display screen, with 720P HD quality. There will be a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. The device's storage options include a 1GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and microSD slot for expanding the memory. The device will be having dual SIM support. There will be a 12 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. As per the rumours, the device will be coming at a price of rupees 18,000/-.

The A240 smartphone/ phablet has some features similar to the Canvas 4 such as support for vertical panorama, flip to silence, smart pause etc. The expected price tag also remembers the Canvas 4. whether the new device will be named Canvas 5? Lets wait and see.
