Nokia Lumia 1520 is the next rumoured Windows Phone 8 phablet from the company. The device has been noted down by the rumour mill a few weeks ago, and from then onward, we were hearing so many rumours about the expected features of the device. Recently some specifications of the device has been leaked. The leaks say that this is the same device, which was known among the rumour mongers as the Bandit 6.
According to the leaked details, the Lumia 1520 will be having a 6 inch AMOLED Full HD display. With a measurement of 152×81×8.7mm, the device will be having a 160 g of weight. If the leak is correct, the new phablet will be featuring a 20.7 mega pixel camera on the rear side. There were rumours that the rear camera of the Lumia 1520 will be protruding out, giving it a design almost similar to the Lumia 925 smartphone. The camera of the new device will e having so many features, including the Panorama, OIS, Nokia Camera App and also Carl Zeiss optics.
There will be a 2 GHz quad core processor to power up the device. The CPU will be supported by an Adreno 330 GPU. The leak indicates that there would be a 2 GB of RAM coupled with the processor. The storage options include a 32/64 GB internal storage options too. If we are to believe the leaks, there will be provisions to expand the memory, using the SD card.
There would be a 3400 mAh battery to charge up the device. We really hope this time there would e the wireless charging. The connectivity options of the device include 4G and LTE connectivities. The supported SIM type would be nano SIM it seems.
Nokia is expected to release six new devices including the Lumia 1520 in an event on October 22nd. The event, dubbed the Nokia World Event will be taking place in Abu Dhabi. If the rumours are correct, the device will be carrying a price tag of Rs. 50,000/- approximately. In the up coming event, Nokia will be unveiling the long rumoured tablet form the company, dubbed the Lumia 2520. the other devices expecting a show up are Lumia 525, Asha 502.
