Never clean your mobile with water as it may damage the electronic circuits in the phone. If it is wet, switch off the phone immediately, remove the flip cover or back case, remove the battery if possible and clean all these parts with a dry cloth. And let these parts and phone dry completely. May be you can keep under fan. Better not to keep under the sun for long as it may damage the display also. Once you are sure the phone is completely dry, switch it on and test. If the issue is still there, chances are there that some damage has already happened. In that case, take the phone to a service center.
