Samsung Galaxy S IV specs and release date leaked

New updated rumours about the features and release date of Samsung Galaxy S IV

As suggested earlier by the reports, Samsung Galaxy S IV had been planned to launch in the month of May. But the recent rumours point its fingers to an earlier release, most probably by the end of March or beginning of April. Like that of the last time, chances are there that Samsung might abandon the MWC (Mobile World Congress) and to hold a separate launching event for its flagship smartphone, Galaxy S IV. There are many reasons pointed out by various analysts as a reason for this changed releasing date. Some are of the opinion that the decision not to release the phone in MWC is made to grab the attention of the whole world exclusively towards it. Some others say that it is because Samsung wants to give their fans a chance to follow the S III for some more time. Some other analysts are of the opinion that the continuous and frequent releasing of new devices might make the recent customers a bit disappointed. They might feel that they should have waited a few more months to get the better upgraded Galaxy.

Another rumour that is getting spread over Galaxy S IV is about its name. As Four, being a number that carries bad luck according to the believes of Koreans (where Samsung's Head Quarters is situated), there are chances that Samsung might name it differently. Samsung has technically named Galaxy S IV as GT-i9500 whereas that of Samsung Galaxy S III was GT-i9300. The internal code for Galaxy S IV is Altius J (which means “higher”).

The rumoured features of Galaxy S IV are:

To start with, Galaxy S IV is expected to arrive with a quad-core chip that is based on ARM's A15 architecture. But, as the Exynos Octa was announced at CES 2013 (Consumer Electronics Show), the chances for an eight-core processor cannot be ignored completely. As far as the operating system is concerned, we can expect Android 4.2(Android Jelly Bean) along with the next generation of TouchWiz skin for its interface. There are rumours that Galaxy S IV will be having another operating system, known as Tizen, which Samsung has already tried it in other phones.

The device is expected to have a rear camera of at least 10 MP if not 13 MP. Some reports say it is 12 MP. Galaxy S IV is said to have wireless charging also. The phone is expected to have a display of 4.99" AMOLED and 1080p full-HD display with 440ppi pixel density. Other expected specifications include 4G LTE connectivity, 2GB of RAM and a microSD slot to expand the memory. According to some reports, Galaxy S IV will have a 2,600mAh battery, whereas that of the Galaxy S III was 2,100mAh.

The phone's screen will be unbreakable and bendable according to some rumours. Samsung Galaxy S IV is to be arrived in two colours, Black and White. Though Samsung has not yet confirmed the releasing date or the specifications of its Galaxy S IV, it is worth waiting for. The degree of anticipation that Samsung always creates among its fans is admirable, next only to iPhones. All these rumours strengthen the density of anticipation. Lets expect that Samsung will put an end to these rumours by coming up with solid official announcement soon.
