Rumoured features of Galaxy Young includes Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and 1 GHz processor with 768 MB RAM. The device has 4GB internal memory. The external memory is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. The Galaxy Young will have a 3.27-inch full touch HVGA display with pixel dimensions of 320×480. it comes with twin cameras, a 3MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. It supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB 2.0. and also GPS with A-GPS. As its sensors, the phone has Accelerometer, Digital Compass, Proximity sensor. It is powered by 1300 mAh Li-ion battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Fame has similar specs as the Galaxy Young with slight modifications. It has a slightly larger screen at 3.5-inches, with pixel dimensions remaining at 320×480. It replaces the 3 MP camera of the Young for a 5 MP one. Galaxy Fame's RAM is cut down to 512 MB. Other differences include the presence of Glonass navigation and optional NFC support. All other features like the OS, processor, battery, sensors and connectivity are same for the siblings. Just like Samsung Galaxy Young, Galaxy Fame also features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system with 1 GHz processor. Both the phones get access to Game Hub Lite, which allows easy access to games. Samsung's device management software, S Cloud, will also be available as a safe and simple syncing option for back-up and storage. These new devices are also sensible to your movements with their intuitive Motion UI. Simply shake the devices to refresh and update widgets and other content. If you are unable to take a call, you can just turn over the device to mute the ringer.
The phone will be coming to market with yet another variation- Dual SIM – as per the demand from the customers- says the company. Though the price of these two devices are not yet revealed, according to rumours, it will be in and around 10,000/- Indian rupees.
