The rumours about Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone were on and off the air for a pretty long time by now. Both credible and incredible gossips were spreading about the device. According to the latest report, Samsung is likely to announce the device in Mobile Unpacked Event. The Mobile Unpacked Event is an event that is to be conducted by the South Korean Smartphone giant Samsung, exclusively for its Galaxy S4. The tech world expect that Samsung will be sending invitation for the event at Mobile World Congress, which is to be held on 28th this month at Barcelona.
This latest report has been published by the SamMobile website, which declared that Samsung’s next Galaxy s4, code named as Altius, is likely to be released on March 15th. Earlier, there were reports that Galaxy S4 will be reaching the markets in April 15th. This time, SamMobile does not stop itself from merely declaring the date. It goes further and reports about the markets where the device is likely to be launched.
The Galaxy S4 will be made available to the Eastern countries from Europe. Asia and the Rest of the Europe will be receiving the device by April end while the US, Australia and Africa will be getting the device by the month of June.
The expected or rumoured features of Samsung Galaxy S4 can be summarized in a nut shell as follows: The Galaxy S4 will come with a the 4.99 inch Super AMOLED display, which has full HD resolution which is, 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (445ppi). The device will be powered by the Exynos 5 Octa chipset with Mali-T658 GPU. Galaxy S4 will also pack a Stylus Pen. The rear facing camera of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be of 13 MP with a recording capacity of 1080p video at 30fps and a 2MP front-facing camera capable of shooting 720p HD videos. The device will run on the latest Android Jelly Bean OS. It will also have wireless charging ability.
As per the reports of the SamMobile, all these news have been given by a “trusted insider”, whose identity is not yet disclosed for obvious reasons. No denial or confirmation have beenj come forth from the officials of Samsung yet. If this news is correct, then obviously, Samsung’s presence at the coming Mobile World Congress will be for name sake.
