According to some latest reports, Google will be beginning the shipping of the 4G LTE Version Chromebook Pixel by this month. If the rumours are correct, the Chromebook Pixel will be shipped on 8TH April, 2013.
Google's upcoming Chrome product- the Chromebook Pixel laptop is not as quite low cost as its other brothers. This version of the Chromebook is a premium product. If the reports are correct, the 32 GB Wi-Fi only model will cost 70,000/- rupees. Its 4G LTE model is gonna be more costly than this. The 4G LTE version of the device will be having a price tag of 80000/- Rupees.
Both the Chromebook Pixels are more or less the same, keeping away the connectivity and storage options. Both of them have a 12.85-inch 400nit touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The screen has a 2560×1700 resolution with 239 ppi pixel density. Both of these devices have an Intel Core i5 dual-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz to power this device and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU. The devices have 4 GB of RAM. Both the Chromebook Pixels have dual-band Wireless N and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, integrated HD Graphics 4000, a microSD slot and two USB ports.
Both of them are having the same battery too. The battery promise up to 5 hours. Both have access to 1 TB of Google Drive cloud storage for three years. The LTE Pixel exclusively uses Verizon’s LTE network. Those who purchase it will get 100 MB a month for the first two years. After that, you’ll have to start paying normal LTE network fees.
As the Wi-Fi only version has started shipping earlier, the 4G LTE model will be coming soon. As mentioned above, there are chances that the device will start shipping on 8th April 2013.
