Lenovo launched their new tablets, in the Yoga series today. The speciality of the devices is that it has different modes. Running on Android Jelly Bean Operating System, the devices have a quad core processor too.
The different modes supported by these Tablets are – Laptop Mode, Stand mode, Tent Mode and Tablet mode. The Yoga tablet is available in two different versions – an 8 inch and a 10.1 inch versions. The 1.2 GHz quad core processor is coupled with 1 GB RAM in both the tablets. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS is coupled with Lenovo's own UI.
Yet another USP of the device is its battery life. As per the claims of the company, the devices will be having a battery life of 18 hours. The device has almost all of the connectivity options like Wi – Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 etc. There is a microSD card slot in the device, which has the capacity to support up to 64 GB. The user can choose from a 16 GB/ 32GB internal memory options.
The purchasing kit of the 10.1 inch version of the tablet will be including a Bluetooth Keyboard, with a mouse track pad. Both the tablets have a 5 MP rear cameras and 1.6 MP front cameras. As per the reports from the company, both the devices will be going on sale from today onwards. The availability of different version will vary according to the market. The device will be having a price tag of $249, that is Indian Rupees 16,000/- and the bigger 10.1 tablet will be having a price tag of $299, that is, Rs. 20,000/-.
