The Android 5.1 Lollipop based iBall Cobalt Solus 4G equips a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels and thus offering a pixel density of 294ppi. A 1GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor powers the device which comes coupled with 2GB of RAM space. An internal memory of 16 GB is featured but with no word on the expandable memory.
On the rear a 13 MP sensor has been spotted with an LED flash. An 8MP front snapper is also on board. The Cobalt Solus 4G comes with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options. The handset supports Indian LTE bands TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE 2300MHz and 1800MHz. A 2,000mAh battery provides ample juice to keep the handset powered all day long.
The HotKnot file transfer technology which is just like the NFC is also featured in the handset. Accelerometer, proximity and light sensors also comes with the handset. The color variants available for purchase are White and Blue. The iBall Cobalt Solus 4G provides support to 15 regional languages thus ensuring communication without barriers.

We’ve seen a couple of affordable 4G enabled handsets this year, and the iBall Cobalt Solus 4G has just joined the pack. It’s a little pricier than similar handsets from other manufacturers, but makes up for it with some respectable specs and a worthy camera combo.
